Club Hill Climb Champs

Last year I hit the start line at  81.7kgs. That was deemed not ideal for hills.  Today I was 85.2kgs.  Even worse!

Recently, I’d recalibrated my FTP to be 290W as I’d not been able to hit the old 320 mark for a few months.  The 320W comes from last year’s hill climb data.

The Plan

Video the race.  Stay with the main bunch “for as long as possible” which equates to hopefully hang on until the house at the right hand corner about 2.5kms into it.  Other than that, ride at a steady TT pace and work out what my FTP is at the moment. Continue reading
